Personal Content

Background:
During lockdown, people (including me) became immersed in the TV show ‘Normal People’, adapted from the book by Sally Rooney.  After I convinced a friend to watch it, he sent me a  WhatsApp voice note, sharing his thoughts on the first few episodes. He captured the feelings many of us struggled to articulate and I applied this voicenote as a sample over a short film, which was filmed and edited by me.

Background: Between 2018 and 2022 I ran a streetwear clothing brand called, 'The Roadbeer Society’. I sourced and worked with illustrators from around the world, producing a limited collection of clothing. I was lucky enough to partner with EVERPRESS, who sell, manufacture and distribute the clothing. I then produced, directed and managed all marketing output, leading to the sale of over 500 garments internationally. Here are my two of my favourite pieces of content that I made.

Background: Ever since I learned how to produce content, documenting my travel adventures has been a constant theme on my social media. This video below was the intro clip for a holiday I took to Corfu. For me this video captures a sense of nostalgia, something that features regularly in my output.

Background:
As mentioned above, making nostalgic content features regularly in my output. Back in 2016 I learned how to shoot 35mm film and have been in love with the medium ever since. Capturing a moment in time and not being able to see the output until later allows me to be more present in that moment.
