Creative Pursuits:
I am thinking of bringing my ‘In My Bio’ project back to life somehow or at least sharing it again. With what’s happening in the world right now, I think it could be a good way to encourage activism rather than ‘slacktivism’. I have also been experiencing creative flow again which has been difficult to obtain for some time. With this, I have been producing some content again from videos to even editing this website which feels really good.
Life:
After a very long hiatus away from the gym I am trying to go more. Back on the 19th of May 2024 I completed the Hackney Half Marathon in just under 2hrs and 30mins. I think it’s safe to say my body is now paying the price of that training and therefore the gym is needed to build strength back up. I am currently living in Clapham North too, the 5th location in my 4+ years in London.
Work:
As of this week (w/c 3 June), I have started a new job on the Client Services Team of Munich based, ‘Serviceplan Group’, a global advertising agency. I am working as part of the ‘Marcom Engine’ for the BMW client and I’m working on their GKL models as well as their M models as an orchestrator of various other agencies inluding MediaMonks, TMW Unlimited and Mediaplus/TotalMedia to name a few.
Currently Reading:
Currently I'm trying to complete a 12 books in 12 months GoodReads challenge. As of right now I’m in the midst of three books: ‘Insatiable by Daisy Buchanan’ which I saw on a friend’s Instagram Story, ‘Atomic Habits by James Clear’ which I’ll never finish as I just can’t do self help books and ‘Judas country by Gavin Lyall’ which I picked up for 50p in a charity shop en route to Hampstead Heath on my birthday this year.
Just finished:
I've completed ‘Marching Powder: A True Story of Friendship, Cocaine, and South America's Strangest Jail by Rusty Young’ which was a recommendation from a friend and I loved it, although the ending was a bit quick as well as ‘Everything I Know About Love by Dolly Alderton’ which I absolutely adored.
Watching:
After rinsing through everything on my free 3 month AppleTV subscription, I am now watching ‘Sex Education’ on Netflix for the first time.
